JOB TITLE: INVESTMENT MANAGER

A Leading Commercial Business Empire located in Lagos- Nigeria requires the services of an Investment Manager. Investment Manager to be responsible for offering financial advice and services that will assist clients in their financial endeavors. The responsibilities of Investment Manager include relationship management, account management, financial investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will support/be responsible for successful delivery, development, implementation, tracking and optimization of projects relating to:
 Answer clients’ questions about the purposes and details of financial plans and strategies.
 Interview clients to determine their current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance or other information needed to develop a financial plan.
 Manage client portfolios and contact clients periodically to determine any changes in their financial status.
 Monitor financial market trends to ensure that client plans are responsive.
 Analyze financial information obtained from clients to determine strategies for meeting clients’ financial objectives.
 Investigate available investment opportunities to determine compatibility with client financial plans.
 Recommend to clients, strategies in cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning or other areas to help them achieve their financial goals.
 Recommend financial products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds or insurance.
 Prepare and interpret clients information such as investment performance reports, financial document summaries and income projections
 Review clients’ accounts and plan regularly to determine whether life changes, economic changes, environmental concerns or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment.
 Devise debt liquidation plans that include payoff priorities and timelines.

REQUIREMENTS

 B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Management or related field.
 Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance, Insurance and Real estate
 Proven experience in Financial Services.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
 Proficient in various financial management software ( QuickBooks, Sage, ERP)
 Must possess excellent analytical and strong mathematical skills,
 Must be able to understand and present complex information
 Must possess excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills
